Expertise / 02 / Mobile app development

Mobile applicationdesign and development.

We build mobile products from the first usable release through store submission. Recording, waiting and returning deserve as much care as the screens themselves.

Define the scope together

For founders launching a first product and teams improving an existing app. We select the core user journey, then define platform, data, payment and device requirements.

What determines timing and budget?

Accounts, offline use, subscriptions, APIs and device checks matter alongside screen count. Implementation completion and store review are planned as separate release stages.

What we work on

01

The first release

We identify the main user journey and decide which features the first release really needs.

02

The app experience

Recording, content, notifications and subscriptions, shaped around the needs of the product.

03

Getting ready for the store

Device checks, store assets and release preparation are part of the development process.

What you take away

We define the scope around your needs in our first conversation.

  • 01Working mobile app
  • 02Core journeys and error states
  • 03Store release preparation
  • 04Source code and handover notes

How we move forward

01

Narrow the journey

We define who the product helps, when they need it and how it works.

02

Try it on a device

We review working builds on real devices, moving design and development forward together.

03

Complete the release

We review errors, permissions, content and store requirements before launch.

A closer look at the work

Nurena brings voice recording, a dream journal and analysis into one mobile experience. Small details such as draft recovery are part of that experience too.

The making of Nurena

Before you start

Can iOS and Android be developed together?

A shared codebase may fit the requirements. Platform-specific behaviour and real-device checks still need separate attention.

How do you estimate development costs?

We estimate against core journeys, data requirements, integrations and release scope. Store accounts and usage-based services are made visible as separate costs.

Can we start with a first release only?

Yes. We can choose a scope that completes one core user task and defer later features. Failure states and protection against data loss still need consideration.

Can you work on an existing app?

We first inspect its code, dependencies and release workflow. Then we scope what to retain, what to repair and which new features to add.
