6. Oneira Mobile App & Dream Data

Our mobile app Oneira is built local-first: your dream journal belongs to you and lives on your device. This section explains exactly what leaves your device and why.

• Local by default: your dreams (recordings, texts, interpretations, mood data) are stored on your device. The app requires no account, and we do not store your journal on our servers.
• AI processing: when you request an interpretation, transcription or chat reply, the app first asks for your explicit permission, and only then sends the relevant dream text or audio — together with the mood, context and optional profile details (name, age range, gender) you added — to our servers, where it is processed by OpenAI as our AI provider and returned to your device. Our servers process this content statelessly and do not store it. OpenAI processes it under its API data-usage terms, which provide protection equivalent to this policy: API content is not used to train their models and is retained only temporarily for abuse monitoring before deletion.
• Optional profile details (name, age range, gender, life context) are included in AI requests only to personalize your interpretation; otherwise they stay on your device.
• Anonymous identifier: the app uses a random device identifier — not linked to your name, email or Apple ID — for abuse prevention, usage quotas and subscription status. We log request counts and token usage for cost control, never dream content.
• Analytics & crash reports: we use PostHog (product usage events) and Sentry (crash diagnostics). These never contain dream content.
• Purchases: subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
• Cloud Backup (optional, VIP+): if you enable it, you sign in with your email via a magic link and a snapshot of your journal (dream texts and interpretations; never audio) is stored on our servers, encrypted in transit and at rest, so you can restore it later. The latest three backups are kept; you can request deletion at any time.
• Deletion: “Delete All Data” in the app erases your journal and settings from your device. Cloud backups, if any, are deleted on request at hello@nucax.io.
• Children: Oneira is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

7. Nihane Mobile App

Our mobile app Nihane (a void-of-course moon tracker) is built fully on-device. It has no server, no account and no analytics. This section explains exactly what that means.

• No data collection: your name, birth date, birth time, birth place and current location are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
• Location: your location (or a city you pick manually) is used solely on-device to compute observer-based (topocentric) lunar timings. It never leaves your phone.
• City search: if you search for a city that is not in the app's bundled offline list, only the search text you typed is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to find coordinates. This happens only when you actively search, and it carries no identity or location data.
• Notifications: all reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; no push servers are involved.
• Deleting the app permanently deletes all of its data. There is nothing to delete on our side, because we hold nothing.

9. Cookies
